Efficient use of building materials
The challenge is always to use the positive properties of the materials efficiently and economically. Wood is efficiently used as a hybrid construction at HoHo Vienna from an economic, economic and ecological point of view. Richard Woschitz, responsible for structural analysis and structural planning at HoHo Vienna, adds: "From a technical point of view, there would be opportunities to achieve a higher proportion of wood in the supporting structure, but profitability would suffer considerably, without generating any added value. The basic paradigm must therefore always be the efficient use of materials. "An estimated twenty percent more will be the cost of HoHo Vienna compared to a conventional high-rise building.
